René Brehant de Galinée

One time chaplain turned Sulpitian priest, Father (Abbe?) René Brehant de Galinée came to New France from France in 1666. See Father François Dollier de Casson for more information on Galinee.

Galinee took many notes on the geography in the Great Lakes area, the published notes are known as "Galinee's Narrative."
